Bump It Or Dump It 112

[Strong Bump] = Unquestionable Smash Hit.  Extremely rewind-worthy and one of the better records out currently. Next to no flaws to pick out, that you'll be supporting/playing daily.  Something you predict will be a Top-15 Hit or higher.

[Weak Bump] = A Good Moderate Hit. Quality & above average; has more positives than negatives.  Might need to grow on you/others, but could catch on.  Not a clear smash hit, but something you'd genuinely want people to check out, so you’ll be supporting/playing it occasionally. Something you predict will be a Top-50 hit.

[Weak Dump] = Sup-Par Record. Not bad, but definitely missing the mark somewhere. More negatives than positives. Listenable, as you might like some parts but not the whole composition.  You don’t hate it and could understand its buzz, but you know you won’t be supporting/playing it much.  Something you predict that won’t be on airwaves very long or have much replay value.

[Strong Dump] = Complete Trash.  A record you absolutely hate and has next to no positives at all.  Garbage, and a waste of your time; that you’d want to warn people away from.  Something that you’re sure you’ll never be supporting/playing ever, and predict that it’ll fail commercially.

Green = Rising
Red = Declining

Bump It Or Dump It 112

"7 RINGS" (Ariana Grande),
Debuting @ #17 on Pop formats;
Debuting @ #19 on Rhythmic/Club formats;
+ Shipped to Urban formats 01/21/19;
via Republic.,
[beginning w/ 5,960 + 1,197 + 107 Daily US Spins] – It’s a nice modern take on the classic “My Favorite Things”. It’s familiar and catchy. This will be in the top 5-15 easily on Pop and Rhythmic Formats. It may get some spins on Urban Formats, but I'm not sure if it’ll chart higher than the 35-45 range if it charts at all.  – Weak Bump

"LOST IN FIRE" (Gesaffelstein f/ The Weeknd),
Debuting @ #16 on Pop formats;
Debuting @ #27 on Rhythmic/Club formats;
Debuting @ #47 on Urban formats;
via Columbia.,
[beginning w/ 5,815 + 1,945 + 703 Daily US Spins]. – I’m not a fan of the song. It just doesn’t resonate with me. I can see it catching and charting on multiple formats. I can see it in the 5-15 range in Pop, 15-25 range in Rhythmic/ Club and it might just sneak into the 35-45 range in Urban Formats. – Weak Dump

"DANCING WITH A STRANGER" (Sam Smith f/ Normani),
Debuting @ #26 on Pop formats;
Debuting @ #23 on Adult/R&B formats;
+ Shipped to Urban formats 01/21/19;
via Capitol.,
[beginning w/ 3,767 + 282 Daily US Spins].  –I can see why it works for Pop Formats, it fits nicely in top 40 line up. SO I can see it charting in the top 15-25 range in Pop, I’m thouroughly shocked it’s charting in Adult/R&B formats, but I expect it’ll chart in the 15-25 range. I’m not really a fan of the song. – Weak Dump

"WOW" (Post Malone),
Debuting @ #9 on Rhythmic/Club formats;
Debuting @ #28 on Urban formats;
+ Shipped to Pop formats 01/10/19;
via Republic.,
[beginning w/ 3,692 + 1,520 Daily US Spins].  – It’s got a nice lil bounce to it. It’s got that head nod factor, I like the production, a dj can have a lot of fun playing with it. It’s repeat worthy. I can definitely see it playing in the club. This might reach number 1, it’ll chart in 1-10 range on Rhythmic/ Club, and in the 20-30 range on Urban Formats – Strong Bump

"UNDECIDED" (Chris Brown),
Debuting @ #12 on Urban formats;
Debuting @ #16 on Rhythmic/Club formats;
Debuting @ #34 on Adult/R&B formats;
+ Shipped to Pop formats 01/17/19;
via RCA.,
[beginning w/ 2,954 + 2,426 + 156 Daily US Spins]. I didn’t appreciate the sampling of the Shanice “ I love your smile”. But it’s a safe clean top 40 style record perfect for radio. It’ll definitely chart high across multiple formats. I expect it to be in the 10-20 range on Urban, 10-20 range on Rhythmic, and 25-35 range on Adult / R&B – Im not a fan of it, it sounds too bubble gum for me – Weak Dump

"A LOT" (21 Savage f/ J. Cole),
Debuting @ #16 on Urban formats;
Debuting @ #25 on Rhythmic/Club formats;
via Slaughter Gang/Epic.,
[beginning w/ 2,299 + 1,606 Daily US Spins].  – It’s a pretty good song, but other than buzz of J. Cole being on the song, I don’t see why it would be chosen as a radio single, it sound more like a solid album cut. I’ll chart in the 10-20 on Urban Formats, in the 20-30 range on Rhythmic/ club.  – Weak Bump

"DO YOU MISS IT" (Summerella),
Debuting @ #26 on Urban formats;
+ Shipped to Rhythmic/Club formats 01/14/19;
via Zone 4/Interscope.,
[beginning w/ 1,635 + 116 Daily US Spins]. – This is pretty jamming, actually, it’s really jamming. It’s repeatable. it has that hip hop soul feel, I could definitely hear it playing in the club or on the radio. I can see this charting in 15-25 range on Urban. I don’t think it will chart on rhythmic/club. – Strong Bump

"FERRIS WHEEL" (Tory Lanez f/ Trippie Redd),
Debuting @ #45 on Urban formats;
Debuting @ #36 on Rhythmic/Club formats;
via Mad Love/Interscope.,
[beginning w/ 755 + 559 Daily US Spins]. – I’m not feeling it at all. I’m not feeling the beat, the structure, or concept of the song. It lacks creativity. I can see it charting in the 35-45 range on Urban and Rhythmic  - Strong Dump

"DIRTY" (Tank),
Debuting @ #16 on Adult/R&B formats;
+ Shipped to Urban formats 01/12/19;
via R&B Money LLC./Atlantic.,
[beginning w/ 741 + 131 Daily US Spins]. In the truest form of the word this is dirty. It’s highly sexual bedroom music perfect for a slow jam mixtape. This will definitely get radio play, but especially late night during the midnight love sessions. – Strong Bump
