My Music Perspective: BUMP IT Or DUMP IT!, VOL. 132

[Strong Bump] = Unquestionable Smash Hit. Extremely rewind-worthy and one of the better records out currently. Next to no flaws to pick out, that you'll be supporting/playing daily. Something you predict will be a Top-15 Hit or higher.

[Weak Bump] = A Good Moderate Hit. Quality & above average; has more positives than negatives. Might need to grow on you/others, but could catch on. Not a clear smash hit, but something you'd genuinely want people to check out, so you’ll be supporting/playing it occasionally. Something you predict will be a Top-50 hit.

[Weak Dump] = Sup-Par Record. Not bad, but definitely missing the mark somewhere. More negatives than positives. Listenable, as you might like some parts but not the whole composition. You don’t hate it and could understand its buzz, but you know you won’t be supporting/playing it much. Something you predict that won’t be on airwaves very long or have much replay value.

[Strong Dump] = Complete Trash. A record you absolutely hate and has next to no positives at all. Garbage, and a waste of your time; that you’d want to warn people away from. Something that you’re sure you’ll never be supporting/playing ever, and predict that it’ll fail commercially.

I can definitely see this playing on top 40 radio and in top 40 clubs, I’m not sure if I can really see it playing on urban formats, I wouldn’t be shocked if it did but I think it’s unlikely. – I can see it charting 15- 25 range in Pop, 35-45 range in Rhythmic. - Weak Bump

I could see it getting radio play, and charting but it’s not something I’d expect to hear all day long in heavy rotation. I think this release is out of season, it doesn’t feel right for the summer. It’ll get early morning and late night spins. I can see it charting on urban in the 30-40 range and I wouldn’t be shocked if it also got some spin in adult/ r&b also but not chart. – Weak Bump

I wouldn’t be shocked if it got radio play but I don’t think it’ll get heavy rotation enough to chart. It might get some early morning and late night spins, but I don’t think it’ll get a lot of midday and primetime spins. – Weak Bump
